Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an evidence-based early childhood development framework designed to promote school readiness and strengthen family well-being from pregnancy through kindergarten entry.
Core Program Components
Personalized Visits: Certified Parent Educators deliver individualized support—through on-campus sessions—to demonstrate age-appropriate activities and discuss child development.
Developmental & Health Screenings: Regular assessments track social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical milestones while identifying vision, hearing, or developmental delays early.
Resource Network: Direct referrals connect families with local community services, healthcare providers, and essential support programs.
Primary Benefits
Boosts early literacy, language skills, and academic preparedness.
Increases parental confidence and knowledge of child behavior and development.
Fosters stronger parent-child bonding and positive parenting practices.
Helps families build a reliable support network before formal schooling begins.
