Meeting July 21st at 5p.m. for all those interested in Fall Baseball at the baseball field.

🐅 THE HUMANSVILLE R-IV TIGER SURVIVAL GUIDE: SCHOOL SUPPLY EDITION (2026-2027) 🐅
Attention Tiger Nation! Put down the summer sunscreen and grab your orange and black gear, because the official 2026-2027 School Supply List has arrived.
We know hunting for supplies can feel like trekking through the jungle, so we’ve broken down the most important rules of the terrain to keep your cubs safe and prepared.
🛑 THE LAW OF THE JUNGLE: K-5 ABSOLUTE NO-NOS
If your child is in Kindergarten through 5th grade, the following items are strictly banned from the kingdom:
❌ No Trapper Keepers or Giant Binders: They take up more real estate than a sleeping tiger. Leave them for Middle School.
❌ No Mechanical Pencils: Unless you want your child spending 90% of their day clicking the lead, replacing the lead, or hunting for lost lead on the floor. Plain old #2s only!
❌ No Mega School Boxes: If it requires a forklift to put on a desk, it's too big.
⚠️ IMPORTANT TIGER ALERTS
⚡ NO ENERGY DRINKS: Monsters, Red Bulls, and Celsius are not allowed at school. Our students already have enough natural tiger energy to power a small town—we don't need them vibrating at an atomic level during reading group.
💧 BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle): Reusable water bottles are a must! We have awesome bottle fillers attached to our fountains. We will NOT be providing disposable bottles this year. If you forget your bottle, you’ll be practicing the classic, old-school "lean-and-sip" fountain technique.
🥨 THE SNACK TAX: Parents of Preschool through 2nd Grade cubs—you will be asked to provide snacks once a month for your child's class. Think of it as fueling the pride!
✏️ GRADE-LEVEL HIGHLIGHTS (The Quick & Funny)
👶 Preschool: Yes, you need a change of clothes in a labeled Ziploc. No, it is not optional. Art, recess, and milk happen. Be prepared.
🧪 The Glue Stick Apocalypse (1st & 2nd Grade): First Grade wants 12 glue sticks. Second Grade wants 15. We aren't entirely sure what they are building with 27 total glue sticks, but we assume it’s a fortress.
🎧 Middle School (6th-8th): Trapper Keepers are finally legal! But headphones must be WIRED (No Bluetooth allowed—we see you trying to stream your playlists).
📋 The Heidemann Specific: Mrs. Heidemann requires exactly 200 clear sheet protectors. Not 199. Not 201. Two hundred. Count carefully!
🧑🍳 High School Foods Class: Along with your binders, bring a hair tie or hairnet. Nobody likes actual tiger hair in the cooking labs.
🎨 Ms. Jackson’s Color-Coded Empire: Pay close attention to your folders! 8th grade needs BLUE, 9th grade needs GREEN, and 10th grade needs RED. Let's not disrupt the matrix.
📲 NEED THE FULL, UNABRIDGED LIST?
Check out the graphic below or head over to our website to see the exact breakdown for your student's grade. Let's make it a great, chaos-free year!
Go Tigers! 🖤🧡
